You know what categories we don't have yet? Photography. I think we need two versions, most peaceful and least peaceful. I nominate @Douglas Carey for most peaceful, for the photo a few days back with the river and factory in the back ground. It had a blue Korn brush and Myrosol aftershave in it. I also nominate @Norcalnewb for least peaceful, although the photo has now been edited.
I was thinking through the fog of drugs that if I had a pain stick in the hospital trying to use it under that kind of sedation would qualify as extra MAYhem! But yes, much rather be anywhere besides my usual reserved spot in the hospital.
You're smarter than you look, Adam. (And, yes, I'm referring the finger shave video here.) Both categories are good ideas. I'll get right on that. I can stick with the "peaceful theme", but the "Most Inspring Photo" and "Most Disturbing Photo" might open it up for more nominations. Thoughts?
Also, another thought. I updated the "prize list" yesterday as I continue to cull things in the den that are not in my top 5-10% of favorite stuff, so I can continue to try/buy more stuff and continue the process. As the list of potential prizes box is about to swell out of control, and I realize the potential shipping costs may bankrupt me (kidding here - sorta - DO NOT inundate me with offers to cover shipping as they will be rejected). Therefore, I may want to get rid of some flotsam and jetsam in the prize cache by offering up anything that is on 30 DC members "short list" for offers or trades, and a way of clearing your dens as well. However, I DO NOT want to end up raiding the prize list, so I'm mulling this over. Having read this idea back, I think this may be a colossally bad idea (particulary given that trades of single items are hardly worth it, due to shipping costs). If anyone has a better idea, to allow my trading to continue to feed my ADs while enhancing the value of the prize box without the USPS getting the best of all of us, feel free to speak up.
If you figure out the answer to shipping cost let me know. I pif a lotta stuff. The post office loves to see me show up.
