I've done up a couple bubble envelopes and sent them out and have more to go tomorrow. Anybody else want to try some twinjector blades? I still have 3 orphaned cartridges looking for a home besides the ones I set aside for Jason. (Jason @jtspartan, I need you to PM me your address so I can send you the other injector blades to try plus some of these.)

Btw, I have been lying to everyone -- I keep thinking of them and calling them Twinjector blades. The correct name is Personna Injector II Twin Blades...

Since it's warm and very humid this morning, I really appreciated the menthol cooling of MW Lavender Lime. Sticking with the same 3 pass routine followed by minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. A splash of Fine Lavender and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.

I think everytime you post that razor and brush I am replying how much I like them. Nice photo by the way. What is that on the base plate, a corn flake?

    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue/Musk mix

A very quick two pass as I forgot to set my alarm last night. Still got a CCS, which is good enough for the Friday. I am definitely looking forward to this weekend, as it has been a long week. I hope everyone has a great day!

May 12 - More frozen citrus!! Yummm!

    Rockwell 6C
    Rockwell SS (Day 2)
23 mm AOS Pure Badger Brush
    DIY PSO
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill
    Alum/Thayers/Nivea

today was my first try of Glacial Lemon Chill. Chill is definitely a misnomer. It should be Freeze! Nice and cold but not enough to make me tear up. Then again I haven't found one that does. Excellent lemon scent, nice and strong. No bitterness nor too sweet. Just perfect fresh, natural lemon scent. Definitely a winner in my book. Awesome Stirling lather!! Then again, what else would you expect.

Rockwell blades felt duller today. XTG and ATG were somewhat pulling. Alum stung but quieted quickly. BBS on cheeks but DFS- on the neck. Razor is real nice. Blades, not too much. They may get used like once or twice each blade and they are done. Doubt after the 100 pack I will buy more unless Gareth indicates *(and the public verify) the blades are much sharper. To me, they are pretty smooth. I guess They are somewhere between a Dorco st301 and a Derby Extra in sharpness and since I found both those blades to be smooth, like them in this regard as well. Then again, I might be too much a 'glass half full' kind a guy.

Tomorrow will be trying a Executive Man bath, shave and balm. Should be a great day!!!

This morning was a bit of a "schizophrenic shave" for me, as I was trying to pack as much learning into one shave as possible. Events of note:
    1. Entire Shave - Enjoyed the fragrance and lather of Mama Bear's Celtic Knot, but not enough to keep it in the top 5%. Another Shavy Award or trading opportunity.
    2. Pass 1 - Tried the 1966 Travel Tech again. Good smooth shave, but I'm just not in love with the size and balance of this thing. Another Shavy Award or trading opportunity.
    3. Pass 2 - Gave the Derby a shot in the slim on 4. Still tuggy. Still didn't like it.
    4. Pass 3 - Dialed the Slim up to 7 to see if the Derby was any better at a more aggressive setting. It wasn't. Fortunately I only have 2 Derbys, which will begin my "blade sampler prize. Another Shavy Award or trading opportunity.
    5. Word to the wise: When you dial your Slim up to 7 with a new blade in it, DO NOT tell your wife that her loud hair dryer is preventing you from hearing the shave to ensure you've got the blade angle dialed in. I learned a new level of "the look" this morning. Unfortunately, I didn't have my iphone on me in order to submit a photo. (BTW hats off to anyone who gets an actual "candid photo" of their wife giving "the look" and gets away with it.)

The performance was a lot of fun. She had two parts in the play, and I thought she did fantastic. The whole production was fun, especially since it was the school's first production.
