    Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Port-au-Prince (mutton tallow)
    Soap: Maggard London Barbershop
    Razor: Gillette Red Tip Super Speed
    Blade: Vintage 70’s Gillette Platinum Plus (Shave #16)
    Brush: NEW John’s Brushes Silvertip-22mmx48mm
    Aftershave: YSL M7 Oud Absolu EdT

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    Maggard London Barbershop today. 20 seconds to load the NEW JB Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Platinum Plus in the Red Tip. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with YSL M7 Oud Absolu EdT.

    This new JB brush is a winner!

    Crusellas Naranja
    Razo-Rock essential oil of lime aftershave balm
    Today's shave was very nice. Couple a new or newish items. First, this was my second use of Tampa Shave Company Mango Lime. I don't know how to convey strongly enough how delicious this scent is. Sorta makes my mouth water the whole time it's on my face. Today I noticed the slickness. It feels as slick as a mango. Next, a new razor. The Pearl open comb tto. It preformed very well, delivering a bbs shave on the first time at bat. I did get one little bloody spot on my strong side neck. But i could have agitated a blunder from a previous dance, I didn't feel a gotcha moment during this shave. Quick pros, easy to use, weighted about like a slim (but bigger), it is very audible, aggressive enough to deliver a very close shave (but not overly so, that you have to constantly worry about getting bit). Quick cons, I liked the length of handle. But I feel it could have used some type of ball end. And for its mass a bit of weight would have made this a perfect razor. But that's my opinion, for what it's worth. Anyone reading, on the fence, I say go for it. It's a great razor for the price.
    Back to today, i made 3 passes and am very smooth and comfy. I finished with a triple tap of, alum, an orange wash, and a very rich lime balm.

    Enjoyable shave with the Fat Friday combination. I always look forward to Fridays and the shaves are great to get things started. Went back to the shimmed 1912 with good success. All around enjoyable and nice shave.
