Pix of #167 which, because I have no idea what I'm doing, came out in reverse chrono order. Left to right, top to bottom: Test lather (Barbus soap) Early bloom Removed the protective sleeve Arrival
Really great lather from JR #142 black badger in today's shave. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite brushes.
I have been using #137 every shave this month. This one has a great shape for the handle! Learning how the synthetic knot works is fun and I am loving the lathers. Thanks again @Jayaruh for making such a fine brush.
I lathered with my new JR#168 B&W Maggard Synthetic today. Wow! It is a 26mm knot that measures 28mm at the handle. It lathered the Mitchells Wool Fat like a champ. It has very soft bristles and good backbone. I also got a 30mm knot from Maggard that will probably go in my next brush.
Yes. It is. I got the 6C with all the plates. I could have gotten by with the 2C, but it wasn't that much more, and I ended up with 100 blades. I have been using the R3, but tomorrow I am going with the R4, so in the end going with the 6C was a good move.
