    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: JR #142 black badger
    Lather: Proraso Green
Post: Witch hazel, TSD Iced Ying Yang aftershave
    WTG, touch-up

Home base for my injector and SE arsenal today with the Schick G1. Who knew that a very generous PIF from @clint64 would lead me down this path. I have not thought about shaving with a DE for over a year now. Injectors and SE razors are my favorites and give me great shaves. Today was no exception. Smooth, easy, and quite enjoyable.

    Have a great day!

  4. Very cool photo Perry. I would have never guessed the PIF would have changed the your taste in razors so much. I am just happy that you have enjoyed the razor.
  5. Thank you! I have enjoyed it well beyond what I thought would occur. The G1 is by far my favorite razor.

I KNEW I had a short handle 1910 Gem Junior Bar!!!! That one is in pretty good shape too.

So here is my Battleship row so to speak.

A 1915 Kampfe Bros/Star. Two 1910 Gem Junior Bars. A 1912-14 Ever Ready lather catcher and my favorite 1912.

I also found my Schick stick witch is kind of nice too.
  8. Even better than finding a $20 bill in an old coat pocket. :happy093:

Any chance we can convince you to upload your pics as Full Size instead of Thumbnail? When you've got something to show it seems a shame to make it hard to see. :happy088:

my first e.r. 1914 shave, and i was blown away. ... i liked it better than the gem 1912, louder and more aggressive. .. i had to tweek the butterfly in order for the blade to not move back, and it no longer moves... great shaver.... i hope to find a minty 1914 some day. the hunt has begun

  18. Are the drugstore PALs (@$.40/ea) the same as the Ted Pella ($.10/ea)?[IMG]

I'm not hip to the PALs, I just bought a bunch more Blue Stars. Was that wrong?
