Merkur Futur Clone....My thoughts.

It's Ding. I'm just waiting to see what razor does show up. I ordered it on 4-26 and wondering if it depends on when it was ordered. Have to wait and see, I guess.
Edit: Ok, I made a mistake. Changed the order date, it was April, not March, sorry.

 

I ordered mine on May 7, so Ding must have run out of stock by that time.

 

As soon as I get mine, It'll be posted on here, if it comes.

Well, I may see by the end of the week. I ordered some stuff from China the same day, and that had a tracking number. It's now in New York. So, there's a good chance the Philippine stuff will be about the same time.

 

Mine via tiptop14 on May 1st, with an ETA of 5/15-30.
Hoping for the best. To mark my displeasure with a bait & switch I sent a message to the seller questioning the change of product photo and description.

 

Mine's toptop14 as well; I figure that I'll wait and see. If they're Nanje, they're giveaways, and I ask for my money back. If they're the clones, then I'm good, and I guess I'll be "reselling" a couple here to people that missed out, rather than giving them away. (cost+shipping)

So the good news is if it's the TTO there was no mention of returning it. They will refund, or ship the correct item.

Uncle Ding refunded me. The $2.96 has been credited to my PayPal account. Of course there is still a razor of some undetermined type heading my way.

FWIW, I purchased mine on 1 May and it is due sometime between 17 May and 9 June.

 

Gentlemen...I hope this razor is worth the angst you are experiencing.

 

Maybe Uncle Ding was certain that he did not send me the Future clone and that is why he refunded me.

 

What angst? It shows up or it doesn't, and even if it doesn't, I'm not out much.

Ah. Angst is dealing with a set of chinese sellers who keep telling me to check the local post office, and wait just one more week. That after even the shipping company has abandoned the tracking number.
