Ted Pella is just the name of the distributor so if the specs are the same it is the same blade. This link in the sticky seems to say the same thing and provides a lot of good information on blades and blade sources. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/a-small-guide-to-single-edge-blades.28037/ I think this is the article by @HoosierTrooper that @Bird Lives was referring to in an earlier post.
I'm aware Ted Pella is a distributor. What gave me pause is the 4x price difference and the fact I haven't seen any specific comment from someone who has used them. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
My hunch is they are the same. Ted Pella sells volume and probably has much lower overhead - that would be my guess why the prices are lower.
Mine as well. They get you on the FedEx shipping so they end up about the same as the Blue Stars per 100 (about 20 cents per blade). Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
This is it....here Tom said he tried the PAL Blue blades from the medical supply house that were marked "for industrial use only" and he hated them...But he also said, the shaving quality carbon brands from Personna all shaved the same to him...I agree...I love the Treet Supers, the Blue Blades, the PAL Supers...the thing about the PALs are that because they are blue, I never notice any discoloration, I like that...But all those marks shave great! So I would say, as long as those Pella blades are not marked "for industial use only" then they are probably the same as the ones some of us have been going on and on about...
I think that same one is posted at TOST I bumped it the other day. BTW SD and I were talking about trying another noob PIF.

SOTD May 15, 2017 Blade: GEM Stainless Razor: GEM Pushbutton Brush: Jayaruh boar Lather: Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill aftershave WTG, touch-up Nice shave with the Pushbutton today. Smooth and comfortable. Loved the chill from Stirling Glacial Lemon. Have a great day!
The Ted Pella are marked industrial so I'll stick with the Blue Stars. Thanks. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Every time I see folks gang up on the MMOC (currently a thread on DFS) I have to bring it out. Pretty perfect beard and head shave as usual. Don't get it. ASR's signature razor for 11 years and "nobody can use it"? Fresh Blue Star with shim. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
So I got my two tucks of SE blades today. So far in my Focus the Treet blades beat out the regular GEM blades. This Sunday I'll start either the Blue Stars or the PAL's. Super Speed for the rest of the week loaded with a Shark Super Chrome.
Enders speed. Had my first ever shave with an Enders. I honed up an old blade and went to town. First stroke I discovered that it is very sensitive to proper angle. Messing around on the first pass, I found my angle. I did 3 full passes and finished with a wonderful shave. I think I can get some true BBS with a bit of practice. The Enders is a wonderful design. Loading the blade is the easiest of any razor I have. The simplistic design is a snap to clean. Too bad blades are no longer available. I will now be on the hunt. The Ides of May This was the Schick my father used when I was a child. He now uses a 63 Slim/Voskhod on 4, @Jayaruh #23 and Arko. I converted him back from Mach 3 in 2015. This summer, he has said he will try a straight.... Maybe.
