I received some fragrances today. The Carven Le Vetiver smells fantastic. The Rhino I got to make an aftershave to go with the matching soap, the Civet was to see if I liked the scent (I ordered the matching CF soap already) and the Macaque was a freebie. All smell wonderful

I hope your experiment works! You should start a thread to document your progress!

I have one (well two actually) and I found it very unintuitive to shave with. I may have to give it another go.

There were two packages in the mailbox today. I'm thrilled with my new leather goods.

My wife's new lather bowl arrived and she loves it.

Thanks! Andrew. I've wanted this razor for a good while, just had my first shave and it was super.

English Tech made in the 40's. Came in yesterday with a case; going to try it today. It came with a bunch of misc. stuff and this glass cube seemed to work perfect as a razor stand.
A little plate loss at the neck, but looks pretty good all in all.

Been a quiet month so far.
This landed today. A complete, little used Wilkinson Empire E21(?). Two vgc blades - no rust.

Had a great time this weekend at the Maggard Event and ended up with one of the fabulous door prizes.

Matching White Whale soap and aftershave donated by Black Ship Grooming Co along with one of their Whaler brushes.

A terrific prize and one whale of a brush.

Just for perspective, I took a picture of it next to my Semogue Owners Club (which is no slouch and holds enough lather for two people to shave with) to try and give a sense of how big this thing is.

Got all of this and a Craftsman wet grinder for $20. I am most stoked about the Shulton Old Spice. The 2 flair tips are from 1961.
