Today, I tried a Vintage Merkur 34c - really good, not as efficient as his modern brother but very smooth !

I try to avoid alcohol based AS for the time being - Thayers help for sure.

Another Dolphin Smooth Shave for me too - three passes with my cherished 1950's Super Speed and the 6 day old Rapira did the job for me. The MITA soap's tropical/citrusy scent, rich and slick lather, together with that invigorating menthol felt so good. The Lucky Tiger balm added plenty of chill of its own, and the Skin Bracer completed the job the way I love it!

Catie’s Bubbles LTV today. 20 seconds to load the JB Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7 O’Clock Green SS still in the Slim. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

Really nice shave this morning with a vintage Personna twin blade loaded in a Schick L1 injector. Smooth and comfortable. Great lather from Cahaba Blues soap and a good finish from their Sweet Water splash. A relaxing and enjoyable way to begin the weekend.
