21 May 2017 0500 MAYhem Citrus Sunday Blade Focus Shave

Was up at 0500 this morning so I could shave prior to driving my youngest down to Virginia for his internship. Pulled the Trumper's GFT. Using the Omega 6212, it whipped into a great smelling lather.
The 1952 Super Speed Black Tip was loaded with a Voskhod blade. As always with Russian steel I received a smooth, close shave. Two regular passes, followed by two neck passes XTG(ear to Adam's apple, Adam's apple to ear)
BBS!
Splashed on some Canoe by Dana and the road beckoned.
It was a looong day!

 

Imagine a shop class full of hyperactive 12 year old boys that need to up their ADHD meds. The teacher just left the room. From behind you someone say, "I dare you... double dog dare you..." That's were Shenanigans meet Instigators.

Monday shave:

Today is my Vorpal, which started life as a Gold Dollar. This has a number of shaves on it after retouching on the Shapton 16k but this edge is still smooth and very sharp. I caught myself with the tip once and there was some feedback from the alum. A little irritation but my face was smooth.

Irritation A- Closeness A Smoothness A Sharpness A+

 

It's like a more sage herbal version of AV, same relative market positioning.

 

It was all fun and games until we actually got a working mortar out of some tubing. It was HPD and some guys from the state after that.

 

Mr Ed's accent was spot on.

 

We stuck with tennis ball cannons. You could do a lot in unincorporated Harris County back then.

Another automatic three pass near BBS shave to start the work week. A splash of Myrsol Agua Balsamica and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

 

Shave Five! Shaved before work so went for speed instead of the eternal search for BBS. 2 passes, WTG and XTG. Actually went really well, decent shave and very little burn from the alum, just a slight tinge on the chin and a little burn toward the bottom of my neck. I'd say preeeeetty good for first thing in the morning with no coffee.
