Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill AS

The AC at the gym was out this morning, so the Frozen Tundra was a welcome chill this morning. The Phoenix Dbl OC was a but of a surprise. I don't use it too much, and it has so little drag. It just glides on the soap and skin. It isn't the most aggressive razor by any stretch, but a DFS is easily achievable. All in all, a nice Monday morning shave. I hope everyone has a great day!

Nice Monday shave with the Featherweight and a terrific Stirling lather. The Stirling Grapefruit had just a hint of menthol, but the scent was refreshing and the lather quality was outstanding. Quite enjoyable all around. The Featherweight provides comfortable and efficient shaves.

Thanks, Jim! I really like the scent. It has more depth than a straight grapefruit scent. Lather was really top notch.

 

I am intrigued. I can't stand eating grapefruit, hate it, but I do enjoy the beer with citrusy, grapefruity hops. I might have to get a sample when my 30 Day Rule sentence is over

 

It's good stuff! I also enjoy the grapefruit-type beers, particularly in the summer. I bought some yesterday from Red Hare Brewing. It's an IPA/grapefruit radler, called 50/50. That will be interesting. Sam Adams has a good grapefruit IPA as well. I also really enjoy Stiegl, a true German radler with grapefruit juices. Really refreshing.

I haven't had a radler since I was in Germany. I think they just mixed beer with 7up or sprite though. I went on a class trip after graduating high school and we were allowed to have that because they consider that the kids drink lol.

 

Those type of guys earn nick names like "Lefty", "Stumpy", "Old one armed Joe", etc.
The smarter ones just shout "Choot Em 'Lizabeth!".

Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
After Shave: Proraso Green Lozione Dopobarba
For my Monday shave, I have again selected the C O Bigelow. The Omega Silvertip lathered it up in no time and spread the menthol & eucalyptus goodness all over my mug. The Super Speed/ Voskhod duo delivered a fantastic 2.5 pass near BBS shave. Splashed on some Proraso Green A/S and even though it's a rainy, crappy Monday, we're off to an outstanding day!

Keeping at it with the Asylum... A DFS for today as I tried a two-passes routine for lack of time. Didn't hit the sweet spot with Castle Forbes cream hydration though... I think it needed a bit more water than what I used today. I'll use it next time to test that.
