Second formula: Sodium Tallowate
Third formula: Sodium Palmate Or Potassium Palmate...I can't recall, because I don't own any of this formula.

Tonight's shave was with a newly acquired, Restored, and freshly honed razor. I had serious doubts about this one. Whoever owned it, long ago, sharpened it to where the edge of the blade looked like a roller coaster. there was a smile in the middle, and a frown on both ends. Plus, the horn scales were all dried out. It got it all straightened out. Soooo, I had a beautifully smooth and comfortable 2 pass shave with almost BBS results. Excellent razor, for $12.75. I love these oldies.

Thanks Jamie. Times were tough for awhile, but I always stayed positive and feel blessed with life and faith has brought to me. Going to see the big trucks tomorrow with a trip to Navistar just outside of Chicago. I wish I could stay over the long weekend, but have too much to do.

1. hot shower, palmolive bar soap and PAA CaD Shampoo puck.
2. PAA ATG pre shave soap.
3. The Shave Den Lanolin Cool Water shave soap.
4. Turkish copper bowl.
5. semogue 740 HD badger.
6. schick injector type G8 with a vintage schick teflon coated platinum blade on 3rd shave.
7. thayers medicated, cool water aftershave and cool water balm.

 

Love the vintage Williams Stick. Is it as good as Tonsorial, Barber's Bar, or the vintage tallow first pucks.

Only Williams I've tried, so I have no comparison. Lathers like Arko but very little scent so I add a sprinkle of aftershave.
