It's a shame that the Polsilver has been discontinued. Only one little nick (got careless low on my neck). The TSD Signature is very nice, has a definite Bay Rum scent to it. Made lots of nice rich lather.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep: Shavemac 22mm silvertip Fatboy/feather DR Harris Marlborough SS T&H Ultimate Comfort Balm Esteban 'Tonka' EdT Last few days have been my introduction to the DR Harris line. Still getting the hang of finding the sweet spot with this stuff, but I like it a good deal so far. The scent is what I'd been hoping for.........slightly on the dry, woodsy side, with no floral notes I can detect. Very nice. Hehe, now I'm gonna have to try the cream.........sigh. All in all, an excellent BBS shave. Martin

'51 Aristocrat Wilkinson Blade Shavemac 429 VDH w/Sage Oil Homemade Skin Food The Wilkinson blade was a throw-in with a razor I bought from eBay, so I thought I would give it a try. Very impressive! It was sharp and smooth, and I had a very close and cofortable shave with it. Depending on how many shaves I can get from them, I will definitely add some of these to my arsenal!
Hi Rick, Yeah, I do remember that post from a while ago........you little scamp. I'm glad you got the chance to test drive one of those things for yourself, and yeah, they're definitely not like a fatboy. I agree they look kinda similar, but I'm sure you noticed the extra weight, and it's distribution. Personally, I prefer the fatboy as a daily shaver, but that's no surprise about not having similar opinions......heh. It's nice to see you love this type, as many other do. Martin
