Small strokes vs long ones

    different strokes for different folks...someone had to say it...combination of stuff for me,depends on which razor i use.

    I have been using long strokes where I can this week, and I get just as good a shave.

    Yup. With me, I've simply found that a lot depends on how much hair you have on the face. If you've allowed the hair to grow for multiple days, you have to take shorter strokes so you can rinse out the razor.

    Personally I do a three pass shave. The first one is very short. About a half inch, the next is two inches, the next is when I feel the blade stop cutting.

    I know most will disagree, but sometimes a looooong stroke with lots of pressure feels so good and does not cause razor burn at all.

    Yeah, for me, I call that "I forgot the razor blade"
