Smooth as silk after a wonderful three pass shave. I was enjoying the Sharp Dressed Man's scent and lather so much that I took close to an hour to get finished. This Karo Classic balm from Bulgaria is super-soothing, as well as moisturizing!

First shave with a Feather Proguard on my Asylum RX and I'm very pleased with it! Shaved as close as the Feather Pro and gave a better post-shaving feeling, more comfortable. I even was able to achieve a comfortable and weeper-free ATG pass on the moustache area... I still have to try the Kai Protouch but this Feather Proguard seems to be a keeper.

Today's shave was nice. New to me shave set. The muhle silvertip fibre, nice synthetic brush. The weight and shape of the handle impressed me most about the brush. The knot, while very nice, to me just isn't as nice as a badger brush. Don't get me wrong, it's a top notch synthetic. The razor was easier to use than i imagined. The extremely fat and long handle made it very easy hold. Kinda reminded me of handicapped items made for limited mobility people. I made three passes for a very close to bbs shave. I finished my Jack Black shave with proraso green aftershave. I'm happy with the set, and this morning's shave.

Williams Wednesday and a nice shave. I loaded the Williams slowly and added bits of water at the top of the knot and let it drip through. Vigorous face lathering brought up good lather. The 1914 worked very well and it all came together nicely.
