Star DE, Permasharp with two shims. Great, close shave. A little buffing required on the back of my head but no complaints. Definitely a Tech beater and then some.[IMG]

This morning I used the Eclipse Red Ring, NGT by Nougat of London, and a vintage Culmak Jr. brush. The grapefruit and cedarwood soap is very finicky and can be a dissipating lather, but is very slick. The shave was excellent and the Red Ring is in my top five razors. Finished off with Aubrey Northwoods AS and ASB and I am Dolphin smooth BBS. Have a blessed day gentlemen.

Back to a Glacial freeze for Thursday morning:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed Rapira day 4
    Stirling Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo SS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented AS Balm
    Fine Snake Bite AS Splash
    Givenchy Pour Homme EdT

I transplanted the last of this soap into a new ET container which I bought last year, so I'm good to go. That Glacial Unscented balm is a masterpiece and so is the Snake Bite!

Two different things. I like the lather quality of the vintage better than new.

    Prep - shower
Pre - Badger Balm pre-shave oil
    Brush - RazoRock BIG BRUCE
Razor - Gillette TracII Demo razor
    Blade - vintage cart
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post - Alum, Thayer's Rose WH, AV 5-in-1 balm
    AS - none
    Frag - Drakkar Noir clone

Shave was a little rough today. It was my first time trying a TracII. I think I understand why they added the lube strip to later cartridges. The plastic used in the cart dragged a bit more than I am used to. The shave is DFS+ from two passes, but there is a tiny bit of razor burn.

A good shave. The blade has seen its last shave. It went 8 shaves but it's dull now. I love the scent of this soap, but it burns my face. I'm gonna have to get rid of it.

Round two with the Varient, this time on "3". Very nice shave, WTG then ATG. B&M performed great as usual and CL Fourth and Pine finished it superbly. [IMG]

Thanks! It is very nice. Whips up a thick and slick lather with little to no effort. And the Bay Rum scent is very nice, with only a hint of clove which I like

    MLSW Colonia Di Agrumi

Last shave of the month. Decide to give a Tech a try for the very first time. Usually I prefer a more aggressive razor, but the Tech really delivered. The shave felt very comfortable and the Tech was surprisingly efficient. Three passes with the Tech and some great smelling XXX lather and the baby was waiting for me. Finished off with a spritz of MLSW Colonia Di Agrumi AND I was smooth and smelling great! Have a fantastic day my friends!
