Thursday's Shave Nivea Men Face Wash VDH Deluxe Shaving Soap Bunny B-400 Gillette 195 Rockwell CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water AS The VDH Deluxe Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Bunny B-400 two-band badger brush. I did two passes the Gillette 195 razor and Rockwell Swedish Stainless blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thanks Andrew. When I took the pic, my youngest sister sent me a pic from Maui with a huge Margarita in her hand and surfers in the background so had to find a background to fit the mood.
Something different for today. This vintage Ever-Ready brush had been listed and relisted on eBay and it called to me everytime I saw it. So, I bought it. I never figured on it being so small. Clearly an early entry into the travel brush category. The diameter is about the size of a penny. Holds water like crazy but had it figured out by the third pass. This soap arrived in the mail today and I love the smell (Iced Pink Grapefruit). I liked it so much that I decided to take it for a spin. My other three TSD shave soaps are non-lanolin sticks that I face lather with. I grabbed my Jayaruh #155 Boar and whipped up a wonderful lather. Not only not does this soap smell great, it performs! A wonderful second shave of the day. TSD Iced Pink Grapefruit Soap Jayaruh #155 Brush Feather AC SS Kamisori Feather Pro Blade Lucky Tiger Florida Water Have a nice evening!
I really like this photo. Also that straight look great! A bold and intimidating beast, I am not a straight shaver (yet), so that considered larger than most blades?
