The Arko Challenge

This is ebay, unlikely to have tax on it. Coming from Turkey, so it'll take a minimum of three weeks, but I won't be done with my Arko or VDH by then

 

I was able to get a 140g tub of Dery from Amazon. I don't know if there is a difference between the tub and stick though.

I had an Arko shave myself today

 

I originally guessed 75 shaves. It's start'n to look like I missed it.

 

Finally shaved with some Arko awesome performance a bit lacking in scent but I've been told I can alter the scent by adding some AS I may try that.

Most complain the scent is too strong!

 

It is strong but not bad just soapy very clean but in my opinion boring that's what I meant by lacking

Gotcha. Yup who wants soap that smells like soap. I add old spice AS to my vintage OS soap. Works good for me.

 

Um... Me?

I'm working on using up the VDH I have by loading it like I hate it. That way, I can focus on the Williams and Arko.

 

I have 3 different VDH soaps all good. I also have some just plain soap smelling soaps. Like vintage palmolive...the green stuff.

 

I have some Palmolive (stick) from England - got it at the same time as the Wilkinson Sword. Right now, I have three soaps 'open'. I won't open another until I've used up one or more of the open oneseseseses.. (how do you stop spelling that when tired?)

 

I should have said cream not soap. The palmolive I have is a cream old enough to bein a metal tube.

 

Also have the same stuff in plastic. Fantastic lathering cream.

I am a fan of the Pulse at times.

 

It's a change up for me. Drug store classic!

 

About once or twice a month I get in the mood for something newer. That or Gillette cool wave gets it done then.
