The CH2 looks fantastic and should make a dent in the never ending bowl of La Toja Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Me, three. Got a new-to-me shavette to try half DE blades through & that fresh vintage pack of Twin injector blades to enjoy. I'm holding off today's shave so I can feed a face full of whisker to new gear!
Thank Clint! I can start to see where the sides of the bowl slope down to the bottom. I never would have thought that 75g of soap would last so long.
SOTD June 2, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick G1 injector Brush: Omega 10049 boar Lather: Bombed Mitchell's Wool Fat Post: Bombed Witch hazel, Bombed Fine American Blend aftershave WTG, touch up What a shave!! I am off my schedule due to not being in a routine, but that worked to my advantage today as I did some things on a whim. I filled up my Boise Mudworks scuttle with ice water and then scuttle lathered the Mitchell's with some TSD M-bomb. Face lathered and shaved with the G1 - so smooth, comfortable, and efficient. Finished with some bombed witch hazel and bombed Fine American. A nice and chilly shave. Terrific results! Have a great rest of your Friday!
Razor: Timeless OC 0.95 w/El Druida Titanium & Carbon Handle Blade: Gillette GSB (6) Brush: El Druida Te Vigilo w/Manchurian Soap: Nuavia Verde Aftershave: Fine L'Orange Noir Very much starting to like this soap. It is very easy to lather with a good scent, even I can smell it. Very near BBS shave this afternoon.
I'll have to try that Perry. I find some soaps don't react to warm scuttles. I don't have a Boise Mudworks scuttle, but I do have a few scuttles.
It was terrific! Not too cold, but just right! I rarely use the scuttle since I face lather all the time. But I have used it occasionally with ice water and it makes the lather feel nice and cool. Great for a hot day.
