    Wow, what an awesome three pass shave this was. My 1950's Super Speed never lets me down especially when I have a good blade in it like a Rapira. Rod's Barbershop soap has an old-school scent which to me is so beautiful, and I had so much fun lathering it up. The richness and slickness of the lather are unbelievable - hey, the blade skated across my face so easily and smoothly. The Bulgarian-made Karo Classic balm leaves the skin feeling so relaxed and comfortable. The Florida Water has such a good refreshing effect with a great scent.

    Brush: oscar11/TGN 2-Band Finest-24mmx50mm
    Aftershave: Stirling Barbershop w/Menthol

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    Route 66 Sweeney Todd today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Barbershop w/Menthol aftershave.

    Push Button ultimately fails where the other post Micromatic razors fail, simply too mild to get to BBS on my head without ridiculous effort. The shimmed Rockwell-5 made quick work of what the GEM couldn't handle. Oh well.[​IMG]
