Germany Trip Prep
Today was a trial run to see what a Bic SE would do for performance. I am hesitant to bring my Travel Safety razor internationally so I am debating using the Bic SE. It wasn't a bad experience, just a lot more rinsing of the disposable. I would say it was only a DFS, but a few hours will be the real test.

My wife asked me to use an aftershave which she bought me so how could I refuse her? It's something I could never do. This Fougere Santal smells gorgeous and it's pretty damned cooling. I call the Black Ice soap the "junior Obsidian" because although it's a really mentholated soap in its own right, it has only about a third of the freeze that the Obsidian has. The anise scent of both soaps is very similar and the Black Ice, like the Obsidian is a pleasure to lather. This soap also has perfect blade glide which makes a shave so much easier. I cannot say enough good things about the Lucky Tiger balm!
