That FW is super minty and I don't think I've seen a gold one with a tip on the end of the handle before. Very classy. Very cool Push-Pak and case. Great score. :eatdrink047:

How about this one. I think the razor is NOS as it has the paper blade in it still. The blade bank there has a couple of treets in it I think.

Lucky man... the J1 is my favorite Injector.

Interesting bit of math going on here with this offer. I'm wondering just how many shaves that Eversharp assumed one would get from a blade in 1958. If you were to have bought your razor on NYE 1957, you would have had just 59 days to use 11 blades (loading the 12th just before putting the empty cartridge into the envelope) or just over 5 shaves per blade (assuming one shaved every day).

Of course, this assumes that you liked the razor enough to want the 40 blades and didn't just take the $1.00 refund.

BTW, you didn't say... Did you use the included blades? Also, any possibility of doing a proper scan of the instructions and offer certificate?

Excellent shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic this morning. Three passes for a dolphin smooth and refreshing finish. Enjoy your day friends. :)

Smooth and comfortable shave... but I had to change the blade to the ATG pass with a fresh one as I started to feel the blade a bit dull and tugging. After the sub the shave finished uneventfully and smoothly.

Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Heldtite Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher with a CVS blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. This razor may well be the very best razor I have. Thank you @wchnu for this great razor. It is so efficient and comfortable. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This morning's shave kicks off the final audition for the Featherweight. It's gonna be between the PAL's, and these bad boys right here. Then if all goes well, next week I'll be auditioning blades for the Schick Korona that @Linuxguile was gracious enough to provide as a Shavey award.

No disappointment today, despite its reputation for mildness the Bullet Tip to me did not seem at all inefficient, very minor buffing after two passes required, much better then the G-Bar and Push Button. Cap flat and long strokes as designed. SS blade today.[IMG]

. i did not try the blades, i removed the blank and used. personna electro-coated advanced vintage blade... i actually ignore these old ever sharp blades, i have lots from my many injectors. are they good? I love vintage blades but i go for the ones from 70s and 80s... or late 60s. ?
