My wife is going to Italy in August with her girlfriend. I'm already talking up situational awareness. Herself has a tendency to walk around in Condition White.
I had a talk with Mrs Samurai about that. Things like sweeping the horizon with the eyes every few minutes, always walking slightly in front and to my left in crowds so I can protect best(I am a right handed martial artist, puts her on the correct side if I need to step through), and what to do in the event of an incident in the immediate area. It's always best to figure that stuff out beforehand.
