reminds me of the Clint Eastwood/Ray Charles duet on one of the Clyde movies: "Let's set em up ol compadre, barstool to barstool...shoulder to shoulder...beers to you".
Today was very good. I went to Temple and then met a friend for lunch. Afterward, I took her for a little ride in the new car, and then we just hung out for a few hours.
Had a good soaking rain last night, a little off & on today, so I didn't have to water. Got my grocery shopping done, watched a little Jay Leno's Garage, sun came out and it dried up enough to get the leaf blower out to clean off the deck. Wonderfully mild 90 degrees. Beginning to wonder if it'll get hot, but it's early yet.
Finally finished the garden edging. I had to drill & countersink 2 holes for spikes. It's done & they're in the ground. Now I'm watching the 1935 "Bride of Frankenstein."
Just got Dusty an incline cat scratcher..he really wanted one..kept giving me these veiled threats..that's nice furniture you got there Joe, pity if anything happened to it..
That's Uncle Tubby for ya. Now he's demanding pizza and beer to go with. Personally, I think we're all better off when he refuses to mate and communicate. But, that's just me. He's kind of a jerk.
My point exactly. If I had to make a connection, I'd guess that penguins and cats are close allies as well.
My big dog was terrified of the cat, the chihuahua won't take her crap even though she outweighs him by his bodyweight.
