  1. Great work. Now you have a solid baseline as you start experimenting. Good luck on your first day at the new job.
  2. You guys inspired me so I'm smoking some Dunhil flake in my Stnawell now.

It's a big bowl and works great with my big brushes. Watch for it in tomorrow's shave.
  3. Another great shave down went with sweet smelling software for my birthday today
Caties Bubbles Irish coffee with TSD vanilla Bourbon AS.

7 June 2017 Hump Daaaay Blade Focus Shave

Pre: Hot water, some soap off the puck and a hot towel
    Razor: GEM Featherweight 1950's era
    Blade: GEM Blue Star SE
    Brush: Omega 10098
    Soap: Razorock XXX
Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
    After Shave: Canoe by Dana

Cued up the Razorock XXX again today. Got the same result as yesterday. After the big boar got done whipping up a great lathering, the Blue Star really went to town on my weekday stubble. 2.5 passes and I came out the other side with a DFS+. I guess when the Featherweight comes up in the rotation the XXX will be the soap of choice.
Slapped on some Canoe, walked the puppy and it was off to another fun day in the world of corporate security.
    Have a good 'un y'all!

Still going on the Injector focus. Day 2 back with the PAL. Took extra care this morning as I had given myself a few pretty nice weepers yesterday morning. Unfortunately, my care and attention resulted in just about the most weepers I have ever had wetshaving. The same 3 or so on my chin were joined at the party by a couple of decent ones on my cheek. Needed the Styptic for 5 (!). I didn't really see much pink until the ATG pass on face and jawline. I suspect with this razor, for whatever reason, I'll need to modify the ATG 3rd pass. I need to spend more time with this razor, but it won't be tomorrow!
    Have a great day all.

  12. When you said big bowl, I at first read it as you still referring to the Stanwell you are smoking your Dunhill flake in. Then you said it worked great with your brushes and I was horrified. This is why I don't read much in the mornings or before coffee.
