Route 66-A Winner for Me!

It was interesting to read the story behind @Salty Belle coming up with the name Rum Runner to add to her arsenal of soaps.

@Salty Belle - You mentioned doing some testing for an aftershave splash a while back. How is that coming along? I would love the combination of Cavendish soap with matching splash. Such a great scent! Same for several others.

I have many of @Salty Belle Route 66 soaps. They are really the only soaps that I can use with my psoriasis. Her soaps rock!

 

An update-I DID try 66....Cavendish...and really enjoy it. (It's still a work in prOHgress).

 

Hi Perry, I "think" I'm reaching final stages of R and D phase. Life events intervened off and on along the way delaying testing, but I've been able to get back to it recently!

Another TGIF shave tomorrow with Route 66 "Rum Runner".
Even without the Bay, it's a great slick comfy lather. One of my favorites.

 

It's hard to beat Route 66, isn't it?

 

I'm beginning to think the Cavendish soap could work well with just about ANY aftershave.

 

I'm hoping for a rosemary & mint scent just like the bath & body works soap. Her soaps are definitely my favorite soaps in my den.

 

I've used Lavender Woods the past three shaves. Very nice!

 

Had my eye on that one to try after the Cavendish. Also thinking about Lumberjack.

Another Friday, another shave with Route 66 "Rum Runner"(hey, this is getting to be a habit). As usual @Salty Belle's creation has come up aces. Slick, smells great with a great face feel.
