I'm familiar with this ploy. It's called Winning the Argument by letting your opponent agree with you.
Since we have a Triumvirate of Evil Geniuses, but I'm more of a Boy Scout that brings me to the other one.

Keeping my karma balanced for being both evil and helpful I'll give the other winners in the two categories their prize picking prerogative. Then I'll swoop in!

Wow, it's tough to give stuff away to you guys! I gotta wrap this thing up today, if possible, so @PickledNorthern, @Bama Samurai, and @RyX, go ahead and claim your spoils of war via PM, so I can get this stuff packed up and shipped out! Once I've got that info, I've got a couple of guys interested in some of the remaining loot, which I will add to their Awards. Also if anyone has any interest in trading, begging, borrowing, buying or stealing anything left, let me know via PM. My wife will be very happy to see the piles of treasure shrink and/or disappear.

Swim meet was a bit hectic, so I'll just announce that in a surprise decision, the Best Acceptance Speech Shavey goes to @Norcalnewb for 2 reasons: 1. Despite my desire to recognize like minded, sarcastic smartasses, Jim actually genuine appreciation for both others in the thread and his wife, which clinched the award for him. 2. I already sent off the Awards to the other two nominees, which simply reinforced the reasons stated in #1.

 

The closing ceremonies will be filmed and posted tomorrow. Congratulations to all the Shavey nominees and winners. It's been a blast!
