That's really sad to hear. You'll just have to figure out a new name. What ever happens, I hope it works out for the best Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
I vote we start a new name contest for the soap. I think that if we put our heads together we could come up with something that is both politically correct and completely offensive at the same time. I will start. "Freezing Diversity".
My thoughts. It is cold and based on Green Irish Tweed for Carry Grant. How's about: 1. Frozen Night Out 2. Since Walt Disney is on ice, Walt's Tux 3. Irish Winter or Gaelic Winter 4. Since it has a green scent, Frosty Meadow I am sure we can come up with more
That's absurd. Eskimo is absolutely not a racist or derogatory word. It's a catchall term that refers to all northern indigenous cold climate dwellers. It would be more offensive to call them all Inuit because Inuit are only one subset of that group. There are also the Alaskan Aleut people and the IƱupiat as a few other examples. It's a shame that you have to make concessions to professional victims who have probably never even seen an Eskimo in their life but I understand that you have a business to run. The Arctic themed names were part of the reason that I bought some of those aftershaves in the first place but I will continue to buy them of course. Can't let a few angry people ruin all of the fun.
I was furious when I read the comment. I personally know an Inuit who lives here in Montreal and by mistake I used the word Eskimo. I apologized profusely and he said "Why? This is what we are!"
Taking a shot here on a new name for Eskimo Tuxedo Siberian Tuxedo Siberian Swag Ice Man Cometh Frosty's Revenge
How's about Arctic Luxury Arctic Meadow Gelid Gaelic Tux Arctic Nines (as in dressed to the nines) Gelid is another word for extremely cold
I enjoy the Stirling Island Man shaving soap as the color of the soap was light blue when you open the lid and the scent smell sweet, not too sweet on my nose it does smell very similar to Palmolive Classic European shave stick mixture with Bay Rum together. I can only smell the bergamot, lime, mandarin, ginger, sugarcane, musk, and rum.
