hello fellow shavers,just tried my first cold water shave.cold prep with proraso white preshave,cold bowl lather.cold steel,cold rinse between passes,cold final rinse.alum stick no drama,razorock italian citrus aftershave no burn.while i rarely get irritation unless i overshave;this feel like i hadn t even shaved other than the whiskers were gone.obviously will need more shaves to tell more but wow,quite a noticeable difference between last night and what i think is normal for me.definitely a summer thing to start,will try winter when its here.thank you folks.just when you think you ve reached a peak......

After the first time I did a cold water shave, I never looked back. Cold water shaves feel so much better.

definitely comfortable,no tug or pull from the blade,good soap.i was always under the impression hot water was the way.even my barber said "hot towel" is the trick.thank you all again for the great knowledge here.

Cold water shaves are not for everyone but for me ...cold water is the only way.
