Most new razors , should probably be lightly honed again, on a fine stone, just to get that edge you want,, most new razors are factory machine honed and should be touched up before using, try them and find out.
They came honed from the Vendors.. all highly respected, and sent shave ready. I did did however hone 2 of the 3 after the first shave. Like I said, I do like them all and those were definitely first impressions. Over the next few weeks I am going to try and stick with one razor per week ( not sure when the last time I did that was )
