The packaging for the OneBlade Core is very Apple-ish, great foam inserts.
The razor feels great in my hand, I'll use it tomorrow morning to see how it shaves.

Define "Open Blade" please.

 

Just in: 1952 Tech. X2. It had a Gillette Blue Blade in it. It was a Y1. It looked in good shape, but it is now in my blade bank.

 

I, too, just received my new OneBlade Core. I would never spend the $$ needed for the stainless version, but $50 I won't miss. Still have to try it out, but I hope it shaves as good as it looks.

I was excited to find a snap case Khaki Set on the bay for less than 25!

The gap and exposure on the old Schicks is so large that it approaches the skin feel of a straight. If you can truly master the E Or G, open blades are only a small leap of faith.

Just left Mystic Water Soaps at Kensington Farmers Market. I wanted to smell the soaps and pickup a puck or two. Walked away with 4 pucks and 2 sticks. The owner was very nice. Talk for about 30 minutes to the Wife and I.

So after the Farmers Market the Wife took me to an antique shop do some shave hunting. I didn't find anything, but I did find @mrchick a new cabinet for his straights. The bottom green pulls out and is a front that is used to lock it all up.
