So here is my guess,. The top cap looks crooked, The different amount of blade showing because of that should not be a problem. The important part is the edge of the blade and it looks like it is being held straight across the open comb. If the gap between the blade and the come is even then that is not a worry. With the top crooked it might be allowing that side of the blade to move back from the blade stop. That would bring the uneven blade gap into play.
It could also be that the head is warped. IF that is the case you should be able to look at the gap between the blade and the comb and see a difference. I hope that rambling gives you something to work with.

I just remembered that I have a set that the razor is smooshed so flat it will not shave. Maybe the boxes do not protect them as much as it looks like they would.

Fantastic set up today, Clint! Congrats on picking up the OneBlade Core. I will follow along as you shake it down over the next couple of weeks. You've built up quite a collection of razors. Out of curiosity, what are your top three?

I hope your day is going well!

Welcome back Charlie. Glad you and Herself had a good time! Once I'm done doing blade auditions for my Krona, my first shave is gonna be with my NEW.

Thanks Jim! I appreciate the kind words.

I've enjoyed following your blade auditions. It's hard to beat the Gillette New, so I know you'll be glad to get back to it!

Back many years ago when I was young(er), injector blades made their appearance in the form of Schick injector razors which -- I see after a short Google -- are still available. I have more modern equipment that I have to churn through before I do it, but you folks have inspired me to reconnect with those injectors (which my Dad once told me to beware of: "You can cut your HEAD off!!") as well as move to some dabbling with soap-and-brush instead of Edge. I hope to gain from your experiences so, in advance, Thanks!

No need to wait for that. Jump right in the other stuff will still be there later... But a warning ..., the injectors might make you give up DE and if you slip into the world of SE your lost.... just lost to DE....

    And welcome!!

Thank you Charlie. I will answer your question in by giving you 2 top razors in each category. (My Den in the signature line is up to date)

Single Edge Razors- Brass General and Cobra.

Double Edge Razors- Timeless OC and Wolfman SS OC with standard blade gap.

Vintage Razors- Gem Damaskeene OC and Gem Damaskeene SB. The two vintage Gillette razors are my birth year razors.

I did sell the AlumiGoose V1 recently and really need to take the time to sell or PIF 5 or 6 more.

Welcome to the crew, Injectors are very fine shaving machines. If you are looking to acquire one or two I know a guy who is selling a few:signs136:. If you have questions, ask away. There are a lot of knowledgeable gentlemen on this thread.

Love the Fat! I'm off on some vacation time and haven't been posting much. I've been shaving but haven't had much time to take pictures and post, etc. My traditional Friday shave is still on. Terrific results as always.

    Have a great weekend!
