Practicing what we preach - although I strayed and use a Red Tip last shave. Back on Focus made easy with a fresh puck of premium soap from the City of Westminster. Cool water soak for the boar, a dribble on the soap, couple swirls in the bowl and lathers tickety-boo. Still on the same Personna DE blade in the shavette, but second half. Full WTG & ATG pass with only two nicks. Switched to the injector for that great loud audio feedback from the Twin blades. They show no sign of needing to be replaced yet. XTG, chin buff, S-slides, all that action that makes the alum sing! And it did, despite the T&H lather giving great slickness ending in a very smooth DFS. Wonderful cooling from the Rub followed by the great alcohol burn from M&L's HooDoo juice.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

Welcome to the crew. This is a great group of guys, most of them give good advice and approximately 60 percent are mentally stable. Have fun!

Glad you had a good time.

Honestly, if I would have found the Personna Trac II blades on Amazon before I ever bought a DE, I probably would still be using them every day.

    Saturday shave:

Lot's of time so I decided to go for it today. Super lather with AoS tallow and Castle Forbes paired up with a Mastro Livi that still has the 'factory' edge. Very smooth, very sharp edge still on this razor combined with the wet slick lather made feel good about going for an epic shave. Four passes and the added a fifth WTG pass to clean the last stubborn areas and viola an epic shave, zero irritation and long lasting dolphin smooth face.

    Way cool, Junior!

    A little eighties throwback?

When did we get above 50%? Shouldn't we have had some sort of celebration, or at least marked down the date or something?

Awesome!! That is good stuff right there!

Good review, Clint. The Core looks like a good way to be able to try it without dropping the coin.

Oh, I'm totally old enough to have played it. We actually had "pong" when it first came out, did space invaders, asteroids, galaga, etc. (I was in high school and college in the 80s.) I just never saw the point of a badly dressed moutached plumber jumping over barrels to chase a gorilla.

By the way that made me think for a minute. Am I in the 60% group or the 40% group?

I suspect that the answer is "YES". Shake the magic 8-ball to find out.

You are in the same group that I am. Does that help?

I'm torn. I'm really tired, as customers kept calling LONG before business hours, waking me up - all this week, yet insisting I do work that took me into the wee hours of the morning. Should I shave NOW, and get it done, or should I hope that I can do it in the morning without someone insisting that I have to just take care of their trash IMMEDIATELY.

You came to the right place. If nothing else, there are some cookies laying around somewhere. If you can find them, help yourself.
