One can't overestimate the importance of an orderly shave den.

I appreciate the ideas. I don't see her getting into wet shaving, and although I won't rule out your second idea, I hope I don't have to resort to that - even though it's not beneath me to do so!! Eh, she'll get over it (I think!). ;) There are a number of places in the house where I can point out her acquisition disorder as well. I might be able to use that as leverage! I do remind her that she's lucky that I'm not one with super-expensive hobbies, such as motorcycles, boats, cars, etc. It could be much worse than some shaving gear!!

You guys are asking a lot. Might take a helluva credit at the Shave Den Shop. Unicorn soap could be the seller of the decade.

Awesome. You have room for a TOBS rose tub.

I like how you just float the cute in there ......how was the blade?

That will look awesome. Which box are you using?

Adam, that's a sweet photo of your youngest! I'd enjoy hearing the story behind it.

I hope your index finger is healing up OK. Is the loss of feeling temporary?

You'll be the first on the list when I'm ready to clear the den. Of course I'll have to have enough new stuff to fill the holes that will be left by the old, unless I add shelf space to accommodate the new with the old. But you'll be the first to know.

Another shave with the E2 loaded with a vintage Krona blade. Again it felt rough but gave a great shave.

It uses a Feather SE blade that is the same size as a Gem blade with the spine removed. I did confirm a spineless Gem blade would fit but not lock down. At some point I might give that blade a try. I know some people have shaved with that setup.

At the moment it's in a UPS box headed to the plater. When it comes back, I'm gonna hang it in the den. If you have a use, for either or both boxes, let me know, as I won't be actively using them for storage.

Yesterday's shave was the first time I have used any vintage blade for an injector. Thanks, Fuzzy! I noticed they were much quieter than the Chicks. I wasn't sure they were cutting at all, but two passes and major reduction with no doscomfort. My best description is the difference between a hollow ground and a wedge straight. Both work, but are different.
