Plain old tin foil used to work just fine for our EDP's.

It was more of a case of either the gubmint or the ET's reading their thoughts. So we used to recommend good old Reynolds Wrap to stop that. Seemed to work just fine.

 

That worked fine back in the day. Now your refrigerator is WiFi/Bluetooth enabled. That's so you can check to see if the neighbor has milk before you walk over to borrow some.

 

You can blame MIT for that. They wired up a Coke machine in one of their computer buildings to the network. It had a public IP address, so people could check and make sure it had the soda they wanted before going down 8 flights of stairs at 3 AM, through four security doors.

 

But geeks need exercise too.
