  2. Thanks for the info. I did not go looking for this razor, I believe it came with a bulk lot that I purchased. People do think I am odd, so I will be careful to not apply any of that odd pressure to this razor, thanks for the tip. It is nice to use all of the different razors one comes across, and it is through the generosity of members like @Morman Bridge that makes this possible. It would be nice to see your collection of SEGAL's. Have a great day and enjoy your adventure.

  3. I love the work done by delta! Hopefully one of these days I can sent a Flare tip or SS to them to have done! Nice looking razor friend!

  4. Thanks Steve!!! I have gone a little overboard on software and vintage razors, but I will always be a 10 year old boy and I have replaced toys with shaving gear!! I can tell you that Musgo Real is just amazing, as much as I love artisan soaps from the usa - there is a lot of great creams and product from Europe. My parents are Portuguese and so is my wife. We were born here but raised by Portuguese immigrants and my home town (still live there) has a HUGE Portuguese population. I also had the chance to spend a few summers there as a kid... So I have gravitated to Portuguese shave products. I can tell you musgo real is just plain amazing. The Cream is insanely slick, the pre shave oil has to be the best I have as its not overly thick and a little spreads easily. But the best has to be there Cologne and the ORANGE AMBER is the classiest and freshest scent out there... It is a little pricey but if u like citrus euro type scents, get the orange amber!..
Hope you have a good Fathers day steve!

    Peace Jamie....
  5. That razor is unknown to me. Will have to look it up.

  7. Yeah I've only seen one on the bay- this one. Pretty cool little razor. The head has a variable pitch like the M. Peroni (love the Peroni handle!). The SB's are plastic. One side is mild (purple) and the other side is medium (clear). The other cool thing is the bottom unscrews and you can keep a styptic pencil in there.

  9. At my buddy's house in Phnom Penh, up at 4:30am, third day massive jet lag , situation calls for a one pass shave, and the SABI/Mastiff head on the Rockwell handle gets me near BBS in that one pass with shave oil only. Permasharp with one shim.

  11. Another of Portuguese descent right here. Grandparents were from Fall River. Massachusetts has the largest population of people of Portuguese descent of any state in the U.S. Some of my great grandparents came from the Azores, and some were from the mainland.
  12. Tonight's shave was with a freshly acquired(thanks @Stu929 ), restored, and honed razor. This razor took a very sharp edge, and delivered a 2 pass, near BBS shave. I have a couple of these "Clover Brand" razors, and all are very nice, well built, excellent shaving razors.

    Williams Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #2
    Gem 1911 Lather Catcher
    CVS SE
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Pinaud Vegetal

The Williams Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #2 badger brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher with a CVS blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
