Red Point 917 freshly honed Wonderful SR shave today with the freshly honed Red Point 917. I had some issues honing this bad boy. The edge kept micro chipping. Brought it to a local hone master and he got it sharp. Paired the shave with some Stirling Tuscany and the HJM synthetic. Satisfying start to the day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tonight's shave was with a freshly acquired(thanks @Stu929 ), restored, and honed razor. This razor took a very sharp edge, and delivered a 2 pass, near BBS shave. I have a couple of these "Clover Brand" razors, and all are very nice, well built, excellent shaving razors. Razor- W.H.Morley & Son's, Clover Brand Razor. Germany. Brush- Zenith Boar Soap- Stirling Barbershop Aftershave- Florida Water

I recently touched up my Wade and Butcher "elite" in my 12k Naniwa stone, but didn't use it till this morning. It was a nice and smooth 3 pass shave and I'm nearly BBS.
Tonight's shave was with a freebie, that came along with a travel hone/strop combo. Thanks for the heads up @Spyder . The razor was an easy cleanup and restore. Everything was straights as an arrow, and honed up beautifully, to give a 2 pass DFS, with slight irritation. I just came back from the swimming pool, and the Sandalwood slightly irritated the skin. Other than that, it was a perfect shave, no issues. Razor- The Shumate Cutlery Co. St Louis MO. "Shumate Barber" Brush- B400 By Tom Soap- Stirling Sandalwood Aftershave- Arctic Blue
