For the longest time, especially during my learning stage, I relied heavily upon a mirror to track the progress of my shave. I now rely exclusively on the sense of touch and the sound (or lack of sound) of the razor cutting as my "shaving gps"; the mirror relegated to moustache and sideburn lining. What about you? I still watch in the mirror. I do listen too to see if the angle is right. I use WH for touch up pass and when putting it on I can feel where I need to take a bit extra time.
Yeah, I watch the mirror too. All the better to admire that handsome devil lookin' back at me! (you may now commence the sarcastic remarks)
For most of my life I have been shaving without mirror, while being under the shower. I also shave without mirror while sitting in the sauna. It really is not that difficult.
Funny that...for most of my life I've shaved WITH a mirror and the results were less than spectacular. Didn't learn how to shave correctly until I stumbled upon traditional shaving. Sent from my Z958 using Tapatalk
This is so bad, but I have to do it(with apologies to Mike Jackson fans everywhere) If you wanna make the world a better place Just go to your bank, and get some CHHHAAAAANNNGGEEEE
The question is.....is he really looking back at you? (sorry for my Commencement Address on sarcasm , chuk yuk yuk)
I always use a mirror. Not a necessity for DE (safety) razors, but I find them essential for SR shaving.
