Not much to say about this shave except: 2 pass DFS. It was a nice start to my Tuesday that is sure to be filled with lots of meetings. I hope everyone has a great day!

Not discouraged. Actually, aside from the two nicks (one which literally occurred initially putting the razor to my face) it was a pretty good shave. I just learned, if you're not feeling it and can't focus, don't pick up the straight. Have a nice, smooth DE shave and call it a day.

Also, I know my vote doesn't matter, but I'm pretty sure I'll say something funnier or dumber for a CT than this! (Odds are on dumber).

Day 10 of the Jr focus, 3rd with the Astra. Another nice B&M lather whipped up with the big boar. Quite frankly, another routine, near BBS 3 pass shave. I have used the Chatillon Lux aftershaves 4 times in the past week or so. This one twice and Gratiot League Square twice. Enough for a opinion, I think. My opinion on the scents hasn't changed. They are very unique to me. Maybe not to others, but I don't really own anything else like them. Maybe if Gentleman was a little more complex, maybe. I really like Unconditional Surrender, and hope that Gratiot grows on me a little more. Anyway, the face feel is fantastic. They go on feeling quite thick for a splash, and maybe even a little tacky. That dissappears very quickly. I would say the only product I have that has a better face feel afterwards are the Barrister's Reserve ASs. It is close, though. These are top notch products, no doubt.
    Have a great day all!

@Yehuda D, I know you'll appreciate this-in part, anyway.....upon administering the Gillette Foamy Menthol this morning, it was as if a polar bear and a sled dog were attacking my face :).

Thank you Doug. I haven't used the cream in a very long time. I should use it more often.

Thank you Charlie. Asha and I had a fantastic time. The Core replaced the Feather Neo as my travel razor of choice. I know some are having trouble but it shaves as well as most of my razors and better than some.

    Thank you Jim.

You'll have to check the blades like anything else but a cart. If I'm flying with a carry on only I will just use the Feather Neo.

This would be a classic scene at a TSA station.

TSA: I need to keep that razor blade, you might attack someone with it.
Passenger: Why waste it on someone else. I will be using this for one purpose only. To shave me. ME ME ME ME.

Terrific shave this morning. Soap Commander is excellent stuff. I'll use this sample every other shave until I finish it off. The I1 was a great razor for today's shave and all came together nicely.

I am off to my dermatologist to consult about a spot on my ear that was deemed to be a basal cell cancer spot. It will need to be removed. Wish me luck!

Pre: Hot water, soap from the puck and a hot towel
    Razor: 1966 Schick Krona
    Blade: the Voskhod
    Brush: Omega 10098
    Soap: Aramis Shaving Soap
Post: Hot/Cold rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
    After Shave: Aramis

Just realized this morning that this month I've been off the Job ten years. Damn, where does the time go?
Anyway, this morning I pulled the Aramis Shaving Soap out of the vanity. Using the big Italian boar, in no time my den was redolent with the great smell of Aramis! For a soap that never saw the light of day since about 1985-86, it lathers up pretty good. I bloomed it for about 2-3 minutes with hot water from the tap. Then I beat hell out of it with the 10098. Got a great slick lather. 2.5 passes of great smelling shaving excellence! J hooked my lower neck again this morning and it came out smoooth.
Splashed on some Aramis A/S and my day was underway.
    SHEEPDOGS UP!!

Don't you have someone to minister to this morning, Chris? Maybe help a little old lady across the street or something? (Although I gotta admit "What the Flap?!" is kinda funny).
