Wow, my face could not handle back to back days with the 2011 R41. Braver man than I Sir Primo!

 

That Koraat looks just short of a meat cleaver, I like it!

 

Brave...no. Determined, dumb, foolish, risky...maybe. I think the secret to success with this razor is finding the correct blade. That, I have yet to do.
Suggestions?? Anyone??

Fat Tuesday / Tech Tuesday
Tuesday's shaves are always great. The Professional Boar whips up amazing lather, and the Tech makes short work of the previous days growth. The combination of the English Flat Bottom Tech and the Gillette Minora blade have just moved into the top 3 shave combinations. Finish with a splash of AV Musk for an excellent start to the day. Have a blessed day gentlemen.

Last minute change of plans. I decided to give my new horse hair brush a try. The Col Conk Bay Rum Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #198 horse hair brush. It lathered nicely, had good splaying, and just a little scritch. I did the two passes with the Gillette 195 razor and Personna Super blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
