Third use of the Treet Platinum and it still performed very well. I experienced some slight irritation, but nothing that would make the shave bad. Two passes with a little touch up for a very good BBS shave.

Terrific shave earlier today. These Fine Accoutrements soaps are the real deal. Excellent lather that is easy to produce. Nice and slick, stable, etc. Great stuff. The matching aftershave is nice and has a hint of refreshing menthol. No complaints.

Today's shave was with a razor I 've only used a time or two, but it performs great. I had a very comfortably smooth 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues. Just a solid performing razor.

Razor- Ger man "Der Original Schultz".
Brush- Semogue 1800
Soap- Lisa's Natural Herb Creations "Tobacco & Bay"
Aftershave- Osage Rub

 

As always man, your razors are impeccably maintained, your products high end and your pictures look 'pro'. Your sets make me think that I should expand my shaving someday to include straight razors. But I'm waiting until I move out of my condo and into a house before I modify and construct a true shave den bathroom. I'm thinking of having a display shelf in my bedroom for my fragrance collection and a storage shelf in a walk-in closet for my shave kit accessories and a custom wall cabinet with transparent glass to hold my razors. Then I can take a picture of my shave of the day fresh everyday with randomly selected gear. That's my 'one day I'll have that' goal when I get a house of my own.

Thanks for the kind words, Tim. Since these SOTDs are a daily occurrence, I try to stick with a photo set-up formula thats quick & easily repeatable with predictable results (center bowl/tub framing a razor, loosely surrounded by the other shaving goodies).
I like your idea of custom displays that help keep all shavng items separate & organized.

The Soap Commander Renewal Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #195 synthetic brush. I did the two passes with the Gillette 195 razor and Personna Super blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
