Mastro Livi Club Razor 2017​

Shaving with this Mastro Livi Club Razor 2017 is a pleasure. Its velvety and smooth touch makes it the excellence of shaving, not to mention it is such a beautiful masterpiece to look at. Three passes of pure joy in which I used my shaving soap and the shave brush my friend Roberto made for me. The icing on the cake was the super refreshing touch of my Thyrrenus aftershave, a super cooling sensation absolutely perfect for this hot day.​

A wonderful frigid shave from the Glacial Lemon Chill soap. BBS in three easy passes and I enjoyed the extra icy soothing from the Glacial Unscented balm. The Lemon Chill witch hazel was delightful!

SOTN: Evening shave from last night; consecutive shaves using a large Sheffield 8/8" blade, this hollow-ground 'Tally Ho' from Frederick Fenney, much like the large Greaves razor from early yesterday morning, is a true joy to use. Not everyone finds large blades comfortable for SR shaving—and I was one until I began using this with regularity. So smooth and sharp—just glides through the whiskers. Mitchell's Wool Fat (with a few drops of M-Bomb from the TSD shop); vintage 1905 Rubberset boar brush, and Fine 'Platinum' aftershave to finish. Spectacular. Have a blessed Friday, gents!

I have been enjoying the English flat bottom tech recently and this morning is no exception. I didn't feel like rummaging through the blade box for a new tuck of Feathers so I grabbed a Perma-Sharp Super. Nice shave, but not quite to the Feather level. The Palmolive Menthol cream was a treat as always. Nice shave. Enjoy your day.
