    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick M adjustable injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Love The Fat! A nice Friday shave as expected. The M Adjustable is a smooth and efficient razor, the 49 boar can whip up some amazing lather, and The Fat has never disappointed me. Nice results!

    Have a great FRIDAY!

I am going in for surgery on the skin cancer spot here in a little while. They were able to work me in the schedule in just three days. Hopefully all goes well.

June recap - I focused on trying to use up some samples, and I was mildly successful. I finished off a Route 66 soap sample (Lavender Woods), finished off a tube of Arko Cool cream as well as two aftershave samples. I rotated razors and brushes as I saw fit. It was a good month of shaves. Samples are a great way to try products, particularly with Stirling and Soap Commander and others where you get a large portion that provides 10 or more shaves. That's a huge positive for those companies and others that provide large samples.

I'll be back for July and looking forward to it!

    Razor: Schick E2 Injector
    Blade: Personna
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

After a couple of days with the G1 (sorry, no report from yesterday), I decided to go back and end the month with the E2. This has definitely become my preferred razor of the two and could edge out the J1 as my favorite Injector overall. (At least until the gods smile and I somehow get a Repeater. :) ) BBS or close enough with no issues.

And, on that note, I end another month's "focus". I started this month with the idea of a SuperSpeed focus and made it through the NDC Milord and a couple of shaves with the '58 TV Special. From there, came a diversion with a razor and blade pairing that should not have worked but did (and surprisingly well). Lastly, a couple of acquisitions set me on an Injector focus to wrap up the month.

I'm still thinking about what to do next month. Beyond a birthday shave on the 12th with my birth quarter Slim, I haven't figure that out yet.

30 June 2017 R.E.D. Friday Blade Focus Shave

Pre: Hot water, soap from the container and a hot towel
    Razor: 1966 Schick Krona
    Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated
    Brush: Omega 10098
    Soap: Route 66 "Rum Runner"
Post: Hot/Cold rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
After Shave: Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum

For this last shave of the shave week, I took a trip on the Mother Road. Loading up the 10098 with @Salty Belle's "Rum Runner", I lathered that great smelling soap all over my mug. 2.5 passes later, I had a DFS++. Not bad for the end of the week. The Voskhod was consigned to the blade bank and the 7 o'clock Green is in the on deck circle for Sunday.

Ive been able to find info on a few crossovers:

Zi Peppino is TFS Tobacco Verde
    Don Marco is Bergamotto Neroli
    Tuscan Oud is Figaro Gold

There are probably more, I couldn't really find anything on Mastro Miche.

Perry, we will all pray for a great surgery and a speedy recovery. As they put you under, I suggest you do not state, 'let me show you how to use a razor...' .

You will be in our thought and prayers.

I had similar results with the lather and wondered if I needed more soap. Clearly the answer was yes. I wonder if this would have bumped up the scent intensity for me as well. I found the scents to be very likeable and of average strength (comparable to most soaps, for example, Razorock) as opposed to stronger scented soaps like Stirling. Anyone who has used it have thoughts on this?

Haha! Nice! It's only a local anesthetic. I won't talk unless they ask me something!

Stirling Spice has to be one of the strongest scented soaps that I have ever used. And the scent lingers even after the shave. I had a very nice drama free shave last night compliments of Stirling and my birth-year Black Beauty. and wend to bed still smelling the sweet, powdery, spice.

    Happy Friday everyone!
