I also enjoy shining up old razors. You do great work. What do you use to polish your razors? I use Zep Five Star Brass & Metal Polish. It works great and doesn't have any chemicals in it that will effect the finish, like Brasso.

I usually either use Weimans Metal polish, or Mothers Mag and Aluminum. On the silver Weimans worked better, but on discolored Nickel I think Mothers works better.

You should try the Zep Five Star.

Hi again folks, I just got done restoring another ABC set, and I wanted to show you all. This one is a 1909 gold smooth case scroll pattern razor.

For this restoration I polished the case, and razor parts, as well as the blade safe I got with it (which was a mismatch. ) . And I polished the replacement blade safe, and installed new velvet on the trays. I also had to do some work on the trays due to damage. Here's those photos-

Hi folks, today I would like to show you all my last restoration of this last bunch of ABC Pocket Editions that I recently scored. This particular set was one of those auctions that I would say was a fluke. A rarity. I say this because this set only had one other bidder, and I got it for $13 and some change, and $10 shipping. A great price! So anyway it just goes to show you that there are bargains out there. And now the sellers photos.
