Injector & SE Party !!!

I parted company with all my DE's...except my birth year razor which @stingraysrock gave me for my birthday, a few years back now....I keep that for sentimental reasons...But all other DEs are history...

 

Headed that way. Going to keep some family stuff and a Merkur progress Alan gifted me. Other then that seeee yaaa.

 

Ciao Bella..... I'm lucky...my Pop, and my Uncles...all used Schick Injectors....I didn't even see a DE except on TV, when I was growing up...The Friday Night Fights were sponsered by you know who...and I tell my Pop, look Jack Dempsey uses a DE...My Dad would say, Yep...see...he's an animal...lol! If he was a thinking man, he'd be using a Schick.....After Goldfinger my dad was driving us home and I said, "Did you see James Bond used an adjustable DE" and Dad said, "Only in the movies...anybody that would drive a car like that would , in real life use an injector!". He was right!

Supply Single Edge- Plate 3 with Schick Proline Type B ac blade [ 3 ]
For those who find this a disappointing Razor, just try this blade it really works.

 

I use the SP with plate 3 and personna blades and the blades seem pretty sharp to me and get good shaves with this combo.... Now considering that I recently got the SS HAWK and I have been shaving with it for almost a month first going trough the Fether Pro and Kai Pink and currently on the Schick P-30 blade which tonight will be the 7 shave and to be honest the P-30 blades are impressive considering I find them sharper than the Feather and mild as the Kai. That being said Im sure if I chopped off the P-30 and fitted in the SP it would give me better shave than the Personna ones, but the Personna is plenty sharp and super smooth for a very comfortable 5 shaves for sure and lets say after the 6th shave I toss the blade.

 

Couldn't have said it better myself!

The Schick Proline Type B AC blades are 38mm and fit the Supply and Vintage Injectors without trimming. I personally cannot get a Shave with a Persoona blade.

I'm trying to buy these blades from Rakutan, but can't figure out the shipping options. I can do "Yu Pake" or "No Yu Pake." Which is cheaper? Thanks!

 

They probably had one in there 'L' series....Lets see, tennis racket handle, check! ....4 on the floor shifter handle, check!.....Easy-Rider handle, Check......Jimi Hendrik's Woodstock Handle, DOH! thats a Stratacaster handle....opps, maybe they missed the Les Paul....Sorry Herm, I think Fender product placement team beat Gibson to the punch on this one...
