Tonight's shave was with a Russian razor. I had a very nice two pass shave, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues. These Russian razors can take a very fine edge.

    Razor- "Орбита"(Orbita) . Early 1970's
    Brush- Zenith Boar
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Yum Yum Yum.

SOTD: Vintage F.W. Engels 'Leader' 13/16," Vintage Rubberset boar (not pictured), Soap Commander 'Charisma' soap and matching aftershave balm. I'm loving this new soap from SC. Three super-smooth passes & a near-BBS result. Have a great Hump Day, gents!

Tonight's shave was with an inexpensive Chinese razor, that shaves as well as any expensive one I have. I had a buttery smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS, without any touch ups. Zero issues. Excellent razor.

    Razor- Chinese Gold Dollar 300.
    Brush- Semogue 1305 Boar
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

I think a Simpson Wee Scot might pair better with that Haagen-Dazs.

Really well. I had to adjust the blade once during the shave, it slipped. Other than that it's basically a poor man's shavette

I have the same Frederick Reyolds 7/8 Razor. She is one of my favorites. Shaves smooth a silk.I honed it on a Belgian Coucile and followed up with an Esher. Wonderful Sheffield Steel from an era passed.

The Kropp is an excellent razor. It has consistently provided me with wonderful shaves. Despite it's larger size it is a joy to work with and it is loud. Nothing but face-rubbing goodness left behind. :happy036:

John Primble. This razor took several attempts on the hones to get it right. We caught the baby with three passes tonight.

    Razor- Japanese "Canon 650"
    Brush- Semogue !305
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy

Very good shave this morning. I picked up a 12k Naniwa and touched up this blade from the previous shave. Big improvement. Have a good one.
