Love these Friday photos. He is growing up so quickly. Thank you Andrew. The Zenith Boar brushes arrive soft and pretty well broken in and ready to go. However, I am not sure they have the durability of Omega brushes.
July 7th Gillette NEW LC w Polsilver (4) 30DC LE Stirling Barbershop SS & AS Thayers Day 4 of the NEW LC focus. Realized I hadn't used my Stirling Barbershop products in awhile. After getting a nice lather, and a pretty standard WTG pass, I tried to pay attention to skin stretching 'up' from my jawline on the XTG and ATG passes. I still needed a little touch up, as per usual. Not a huge difference, but its not like I was missing patches before, either. Just a little subtle improvement. The Barbershop splash is one of SWMBO's favourites. Have a great day all!
I am absolutely thrilled with the shaves I'm getting from this razor. I did four passes and am BBS. Ending it with some vintage Old Spice Lime was a great way to start to start the day. Thank you Gents! And great photo Brian, he is quite the handsome little man himself! Cool photo Jason!
Glad to hear the Fatboy is behaving itself for you. When your other one comes back from Delta Echo I trust you will show us a photo of it in all its new glory. My using Fatboy works perfectly mechanically but is definitely on the grungy side cosmetically, as is my SuperAdjustable (can't properly call it either Black or a Beauty anymore). My astrologer tells me that with Mars in retrograde and Venus out of alignment and Jupiter presently residing in the house of the turkey, the stars foresee that the two may soon be embarking on a journey of rejuvenation together. I interpret this to mean that they might also be off soon for guncoating either at Delta Echo or North Shore Razors.
Love the photos of your boy! And congrats on almost finishing off the La Toja. It's quite an accomplishment to finish up a soap!
Today was the maiden voyage of the 30DC LE brush. As everyone has stated, it is a beauty. I love the shape and feel. I think it looks pretty sharp with the Tuxedo knot. The Tuxedo is a smaller knot than I am used to but did a fine job whipping up my tub of Tabac. It was also the maiden voyage of a Luxor Pro shavette. The corners of the blade are covered. It has a low blade exposure but give me a very nice shave without having to worry about nicking my earlobes. It would be a good starter shavette. All in all it was a winner of a shave. I'm super stoked about the brush. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
I have inadvertently joined the 30 day focus. I actually began my 30 days on June 24th with my 2011 Mühle R41. The journey has not been without glitches, but that is the point of the focus is it not? After 14 uses, I am feeling 100% more comfortable navigating this beast across my face. I'll keep using it exclusively until July 24th. I am not new to 30 day trials, but this is the first time I have "joined" the group.
Indeed it does. Side note: while I appreciate "reviews", to post one after one use of anything is suspect in my book.
The deal here is more about sharing what you have learned. And shenanigans. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
