Never use ebay as a reference. What made the slim an aristocrat was the gold plating. It was identical to the other slims other wise. A nickel plated slim is just a slim.

Yeah, like it mentioned at B&B, no instructions, especially in Japanese. Also it doesn't matter if the blade date matches, they could be from the set, or from somewhere else. Still have not seen reference to a "Silver Aristocrat" being made any place.

 

On a side note, I have found reference to the gold plated Black Beauty as being called The New Aristocrat. Made for five quarters O-1 (rare), O-3, O-4, P-1 and P-2.

Just got some EM aftershave with menthol. Good stuff.

 

I need to track down some menthol to toy around with adding some freeze to some of my soap samples. C.O. Bigelow (Prorasso Green) has a pretty mild Menthol feel and I like it a lot!

Razo-Rock 400 and Fine lavender aftershave pour homme (but where else would you pour your a/s but at home) Im gonna use it withTSD yin yang

 

I've actually added menthol crystals to my Aqua Velva, Barbasol Brisk and Lucky Tiger Aspen after shaves, nice. Might even add some to my non-menthol after shaves for more variety.

I have added menthol crystals to my witch hazel and while I can sense a bit of menthol, they do not dissolve. Suggestions?

 

Nice. I have 10 Perma-sharps I just acquired from ebay. Looking forward to giving them a go.
