I'm a big fan of the Myrsol lemon! It packs a bigger menthol punch then you would think.

July 12 - Holy Cow it's Wholly Kaw!

    Razorock 6C
    30DC LE Tuxedo brush
    DIY PSO
    Wholly Kaw Washington Blend soap
    Alum/ Thayers

I have been very impressed with the 6C and the Rockwell SS blades. They have been really good these past shaves and the razor makes getting a BBS almost too easy. I do not know why I did not like the SS blades before but this one is doing great.

WK Washington's Blend was also from the PIF( thank you @SHAVEWIZARD420 ) and the scent it pleasant. The soap really impressed my wife and I. Wet the brush, brief shake to take any dripping water out and squeezed what remained into the bowl. 20-25 sec load needed no additional water(already quite a bit) to make excellent lather quickly. Lather was very slick, a smidge lighter than Stirling but nicely thick. It easily covered in a single light pass in an opaque shiny coating. Great slickness and residual lather. 3 passes for the BBS and there was no need for the PSB today. I was already perfectly moisturized. I would recommend everyone try some Wholly Kaw. This was, I think, the older Formula and if they improved it, I cannot see how they could. It was excellent on all attributes. I will definitely have to check out their scents to see if I can find one I might like better. This is ok and is its only drawback for me. It is useable. I am sure I can find something more scent appealing. If you haven't, try some Wholy Kaw!

    Razor: Dovo Bismarck

AS: Alcolado Glacial (from the ‘fridge) AS, Speick ASB
    Scent: Dior Vetiver

This razor is several shaves in on a Shapton glass 15k edge. The edge was smooth and sharp the lather slick and wet, The shave felt it was going great. Four passes and just a tiny nick and a tickle from the alum prevented this from being an epic shave.

What age range are the young men sharing the facilities? If they are getting close to being young shavers you just might create a lasting impression wielding a brush full of lather and a SR. Or they'll think you're a Hipster... Is that still a Thing?

When these young men get ready to learn the Art of Shaving there will be Men to teach and share gear.
A good reason to hold on to some vintage gear.

Eighth shave with the LORD. I still can't tell that it's getting harder to shave. Seems about the same as the first shave.
VDH (two or three more shaves, and I might be done with it)

Because of the Hong Long fiasco (still haven't finished healing the skidmarks) and the dollar store Personna in the SR, I just did a single pass shave, which is, frankly good enough for business. Clean, no weepers.

Every time I switch to one of these other blades, I'm reminded that the blades I used over the years mostly SUCKED. Why is it that the companies only want to sell the crappy blades in the US? (Maybe the $10 for 9 blade Gillettes, but I'm not willing to drop the dosh for those).

Honestly, for the last decade or two, I've mostly been stuck with the Personna and Dorco generics, because it's what I could buy locally without breaking the bank. Great for learning how to get a good shave with trash, but not so good for experiencing good stuff :)
