Post shave moisturizer/balm recommendation.

I often shave in the evening and am not a fan of using a using a strong smelling splash at night. I've used a couple of the wifey's face moisturizers and like the feeling that a moisturizer gives post shave.

I'm looking for something that isn't too heavy or greasy and that has a minimal masculine scent.

I was thinking about either:

Cremo face moisturizer
Harry's aftershave balm
Dove men care aftershave balm.

 

I'd add Rise A.S. Cooling Balm to that.

Speick
Edwin Jagger

 

Loreal Comfort Max might fit the bill. It's available at major retailers so you could give it a sniff.

 

Nivea Creme works well

 

+1 for the Lucky Tiger or Nivea.

 

If you are looking for light scent and good moisturizer I suggest Pre de Provence ASB...one of my favourites. I can also recommend Nivea Sensitive ASB. Mild scent and good moisturizer...and inexpensive.

I've been using Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer. It's unscented so it might work for ya.

 

Nivea......but if you want scented Soap Commander IMO makes some of the best balms.

How's the Proraso blue aftershave?

 

Proraso Blue ASB has a scent that is hard to describe...some describe it as an anise scent. I enjoy it...and the blue ASB is a good moisturizer like all the Proraso ASBs.

 

Cetaphil lotion

 

Kiehl's Post-Shave Repair Gel is the best I've used and meets your criteria. Proraso balm is also good. Soap Commander makes an unscented balm that's very good.

 

As mentioned by some folks Nivea balm or Lucky Tiger shave & face tonic. Both scents are light and fade quickly.

Nieva Sensitive. A great summer ASB (year round too) as it goes on very easy and lite, is almost unscented, and is available at many brick and mortar drugs stores. About 6 to 7 bucks.
